i don't remember.. but it's true..but drive is dead now.

i want to isolate head contact when sending command. and now head locked. MOTOR don't spin.

Want to shock terapy but i killed the patient drive.. drive spins 8 times and stop. head's gone.

Exactly, that's the idea of "shorting the read channel", to overcome the LED:00000xxx message.

I'm afraid condemning anybody else than yourself is the biggest mistake you can make in this situation.

Do you guys really think there are two magic commands to repair seagates and do them brainlessly, then complain that the case got worse. I feel like i am in the middle age :s

seek professional help on this if it is still recoverable at all !
