Hi everyone! i'm new here, and finally i found a good forum for fixing hard drive solutions! Can you help and provide some step by step procedure to access data back on my Hitachi HD?
As a title i can give you some info.. the drive stop working and make a continuos click at boot... is it the head? badchip? i don't have any idea!

It's most likely failed read/write heads. Not a DIY situation unless you have specialized equipment to handle it.

ok ! so not a badchip/DIY.. how can i procede now? i can't access data.. without bios identification.. right?

DIY = Do It Yourself
Means you can not Do It Yourself, there is a risk that every time your disk makes a "click" it damages your data.
So if data is needed, seek professional help.

ok tnx for answers! i remove the cover and i see the damaged heads.... so you say that i can't do it.. but can you explain how this happens?
