MHDD drive has been disconnected message

Hi all,

I scanned my hard disk drive (WD 1TB Caviar Blue HDD) with MHDD. The software only scanned for about a few seconds and ended with a message - "Drive has been disconnected.". Then I retried the scan but ended up with the same result. May I know what is causing the message to appear? Any way to troubleshoot the issue?
