isn't AltList full by any chance?

Re: st1000DM003 dead zones

Looks like head 0 is dying.

Re: st1000DM003 dead zones

i can't see anything wrong with H0. These heads have pretty wide range of normal resistance.
For example:
F3 7>X

Head 00 Resistance 018C
Head 01 Resistance 0215
Head 02 Resistance 0105
Head 03 Resistance 0157
Head 04 Resistance 0146

they are all good.

where did u see 00?

I got a similar case. It could be on of the heads that is BAD.

Try to image by disabling heads one by one to see which one is BAD.

Then You can disable it and image the other areas. At the end you can try with the bad one.

Hello,

From all the terminal responses, it seems like you may either have failed translator or failed smart. Most likely important modules in the service area are not readable. Try to clear alt list and smart.
