hi every one,

i recently tried to use 4 seagate ST500DM002 500GB HDD (come from HP workstation, firmware HP73 HP custom ?) on a b110i from a HP DL160 G6 server,

when i tried to use HDAT to find out why the HDD weren't working, they are in fact ATA locked,

after looking on the internet, i purchased 2 rs232 to TTL board (one serial and one USB), but since i won't receive them before 3 or 4 week,
i came here to ask in the mean time if i can use them using another way,

the master password is unchanged, so i tried the one i could find on the internet, no luck, probably because it use an HP custom firmware (my guess since i didn't find it on the seagate website),
i have a fifth drive witch is unlocked, i don't know if this can come usefull,

i wonder if this is not the B110i controler that did lock the drive, since i don't remember them being lock before and only the 4 i connected to the server are locked,
but it don't ask for any password ...
and i don't want to try to connect the fifth one in case having one unlocked can be usefull to unlock the 4 other,

but i have some WD blue coming from the same model of HP work station, i can try to connect them to the server and try to dump them to get the password if it's indeed the controler that lock them ? (WD2500AAKX and WD2500AAJS)

i can't try to connect the drive in the workstation they were in, since i recover the drive before sending the workstation to recycling :/

well, i'm kinda out of idea on what i can try, so if you have one i'm listening,
