This 110 NAS has a blue HDD led but no status led. The Seagate discovery tool does not detect it. The lights by the ethernet port are not lit. I have tried a different cable. When connected it to a different router the lights by the Ethernet port lit up but it is still not discoverable. Neither router shows it as a connected device. Pushing and holding the reset button on the bottom has no effect, both leds on the front do not change (hdd led stays blue).
Is there a way get access to the hdd without deleting everything?
How do you open the case to get to the hdd?

How to open the box ...

To access your files, and assuming that the HDD is OK, try Linux Reader for Windows or hook the drive up to a Linux box:
