Current offers at Ebay for so-called White Label 1 Tb 64mb cache drives are $35.00

1.) Do these fall apart on delivery?

2.) What suite of programs does HDD Guru recommend to test and prep (format etc.) during the return period?

Refurbished drives of random manufacturer, I wouldn't store anything too important on them!

No these are bare drives and I have used the low level tool and such from HDD Guru. I'll catch up on the things you show above.
