Hi,

please find attach ROM data file.

Some versions of MRT's hardware/software will randomly drop 32-bit dwords when reading a chip via the Programming Unit (I have seen this on two separate systems). Your ROM dump looks OK in this respect, so it appears that your setup is not affected by this bug.

Here is one example of the problem:

IBM (Native) - Hitachi drives that have a ROM chip will have a copy of NVRAM on ROM.

This apply to even old IBM with external ROM.

Hello people. I am facing a problem with same type of hdd on this thread. On boot Bios identifies it with: Smart event (asus mb). After windows starts i can see all 3 partitions but no acces to any of them. Hdd gets warm and spinning. I got another pcb from a dismantled good hdd with same specifications. Can anyone hint me somehow. Whenever I try start windows with this hdd connected it takes a lot to start. I have to start windows with hdd disconnected. When I connect it to pcb it takes 30seconds until windows gets stuck.

Clone the drive with HDDSuperClone.

You could try to disable ARRE (Automatic Read Reallocation Enable) via terminal using the SP command:
https://forum.hddguru.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=28168

Doing so should hopefully stabilise the drive.
