Say I used HDD on one laptop, then shred it (rewrite with zero) and moved to another laptop.

Is there any posible way to link this laptops by that HDD not having phisical access to laptops?

yes and no.

If you are investigating by analysing the HDD, then no.

If you are investigating by analysing each laptop, then yes... HDD info would be stored in various places by windows, and probably Linux & Mac as well

thanks for the answer

can this analysation be done if you do not have phisical access to laptop?

the main point is to get "new" laptop for online usage by changing HDD and wi-fi module so that it appears as totally different laptop in network

I am trying to think of a reason to do this that doesn't involve crime... but cant come up with anything. If you are getting analysed by just your network traffic, I would think just changing the MAC address on the laptop would be sufficient. changing the hdd is overkill. but then you can be profiled by other means such as usage patterns, site cookies etc

well I have bad news for you. google things like "silverpush"

http://www.afr.com/technology/how-silverpush-is-using-sound-to-let-tv-ads-track-you-by-your-smartphone-20151122-gl51ko
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/11/20/silverpush_soundwave_ad_tracker/

what you are doing is like going to family barbeque and wiping the fingerprints off a bathroom door because you don't want anyone to be able to recognise you..

it actually makes less sense. do you honestly believe you personally are "important" "interesting" or whatever that the resources would be spent to track you through this method? there are much easier and simpler ways.

If Big Brother really is interested in monitoring your activity, they don't need to pay any attention to what computer you're using. They'll just monitor all your known internet access points (home, work, etc.) and see what you're doing online. You can change computers every day, it won't matter to them.

Ok, I get it. But what if you will change your living location and work? Say you change your country of residence.

Read up on the Tor browser. Maybe that is what you want?
Also don't forget many or most computers have a unique serial number embedded in the system bios. I'm not sure when or if that information is transmitted.
