Hey there,

I'm having problems with a 1tb Western Digital disk (WDC WD10EARS). He dropped and has serious problems at around sectors 65000000 to 70000000 which is around 3% of the total.

I know, having used another tool (irecover: to copy the disk to a spare one), that while doing the first recognition (nor trying to identify data) from 4% on, the disk has no problems. But as this point, the disk fails, windows loses it and the application can't continue.

I'm using hdd raw copy now, it is slowly going through those sectorrs with several read errors. I'm afraid it will lose the disk at this stage.

Is there anyway I can start making a raw copy from sector 70000000, for instance?
