what difference does it make

if the data is needed and you have access to it, copy it to a new HDD - "NOT" Seagate - and bin it

i used hdd regenerator and remapped half of the bad sectors(24)....
also health of the hdd increased from 37% to 65% and 24 bad sectors remain....
but the problem is that hdd regenerator says drive is not ready........
also all those bad sectors are in the same place only,
the other part of the disk is perfect.
i need somebody to tell me what could possibly happened to the disk and how can i fix it,
thanks

bad idea

the problem is - AFAICS from the pic. - the pending sectors count and uncorrectable sectors
and it's not gonna get better
loumos123 wrote:and how can i fix it
there is no fix for that, you can only do a cosmetic fix

What happened is it had the misfortune of being manufactured by Seagate. A company who interestingly enough is in the middle of a class action suit right now for their exceptionally poor quality (

Buy an HGST or Toshiba to replace it.

i agree with you all guys,
thanks for the comments......
now im all the time trying with hdd regenerator and health is 93%
but all those bad sectors seem to appear in one specific small part of the drive, what can cause this?
the needle cant reach that part?
is there any dust?
hardware failure?
all the other sectors are healthy except of this small part.
and everytime im fixing it more....(i suppose)
why this is happenening?
i had the hdd closed all the time......
sorry for all the questions but i have almost 2tb files on this drive
