Wiped Disk Data Recovery Zero Fill Erase

February 16th, 2016, 3:45

Hello Folks, Is there any known mechanism of recovering data from fully wiped drive that was single 100% erased via writing Zeros from 1st till the last sector ?!

the question from another perspective, is there any -successful- trial for something that can Detect the Hex or binary of an erased sector ?!

should it be a normal DR case or a forensic one ?!

Data is lost, sorry. Read here: http://www.infosecisland.com/blogview/1 ... write.html

The only data that might be recovered is bad / slow reading sectors or hidden areas aka hpa.

I love it when it comes to papers and published articles, this is a final clue. no need for forensic claims that such erase can be reversed
