Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello, I have an old SIGMA electronic voice recorder. All of my files have suddenly been erased but I didn't press the erase button. The device doesn't have any USB connector so I cannot use any file recovery programs, it DOES have a mic and and phone output though. Is there anyway I can recover the files from the HD as it contains some recordings very valuable to me.
Thanks a lot in advance for any help provided.

Also we offer free DHL pickup for any device inside Germany

Yeah, sure.
There should be a memory chip on the other side of the board. That's where your data will be. We would need to see a much larger image so that we could identify the part markings.
