Thx Mr fzabkar, for PCB Solution

Now the drive spin and detected in windows but take too much time but disk can't initialized (Shows correct Size)

Terminal Log

Quote:
EarlySpinup Enabled
Rst 0x10M
(P) SATA Reset

RAW OFF
PASS
SIM Error 3005
RW Error
[PORFAIL:MC.disabled]

ASCII Diag mode

Then Tried to read SYSFiles
Result
Quote:
Got F3 T>r01b

DiagError 0000000E

The same result for any sysfile from copy 0 but i can read any sysfile from copy 1
So i written sysfiles 1B, 35, 28, 29, 133 from copy 1 to copy 0 without any errors

After Power on reset again i can't read any sysfile from copy 0

i think this model has no 17a since both copy return

DiagError 00000024
F3 T>r17a,3,1

ctrl+X returns with some errors

Short of testing all system files, it is not easy to tell which system files are problematic for this model drive. Or at least I have not found a way, yet.

Needless to say, seems like a new head assembly is needed in your case.

Can you display the entire lines of the output for your three lines, please? I would like to try an experiment. Thanks.

Seems like it is sys file 133. As mentioned before, with STCom, I don't have a solution to figure it out.
So, based on the fact that you have already tried to "fix" the error concerning 133, it further supports that head 0 is a problem.

Sorry, I am not familiar with STCom tool. You could take a test drive and study the tool a bit and see features. Though, I am fairly confident it does not have the ability to work with heads in that manner.

Although, I am not familiar with that one either, it seems like a cracked version software of legit old PC3000 version, which from the looks of it does not support Seagate F3 family.

Needless to say, I am not sure what your intention is, honestly. You are wasting your time.
It seems quite convincing head 0 is toast, so:
1) If you want to recover data, then a head stack swap is necessary
2) If you want to repair the drive, why waste the time, when it is not worth it?

Seems like head 0 doesn't read/write so first sectors are not available.
You have to build head map and try to read data from head 1.
