Hi all,

Do anyone know how to fix DDI 3?

It happened a few months back where the DDIs are both detected in the BIOS but they simply couldn't load the initial page fully (the light blue color page where it shows the destination, source etc, it always load half the page and stop right there). I suspect, not entirely sure though, it has nothing to do with the hardware side as I remembered it clearly that the last time we were using it, we were trying to power up a pretty bad drive and then it hang while trying to load the initial page, we couldn't do much with it since then (we tried to boot it up via thumb drive with the DDI image, without avail.) Could that be the bad drive somehow corrupted the DDI's OS or something along the line?

Any idea what we should do?

Thanks

First check power supply cable, best option use new known good power supply.
If everything is OK with power, you will need to restore DDI in DOS. Check their forum there is topic with all files and step by step manual. Do not use last update for DDI3, use one before last.

Hi Kum Ruzvel, I've tried restore DDI in DOS, with the latest update that I downloaded from Deepspar FTP, without avail. Will try the one before last update and see how it goes.

BTW, Deepspar suggest to change the IDE flash drive in the box... have not try this one.

Thanks

There is at least one older thread on the DDI forum where they worked out the internal storage replacement inside the DDI unit.

Just out of curiosity...You are talking about DDI version 3.421?....If true , why you say is not good?..I'm using it for several years and is working ok...It is better to use ver 3.410? I know 3.421 is beta and it will remain like this forever but do you think that 3.410 is better?

Thanks
Rgds
