Hello everyone.. :D
I started a new data recovery lab
& I have a few questions

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing

By the image, Will probably have scratches?

&

If there are scratches between the platters

(On the platters from the inside)
How can I check it without spend money a new donor drive?
(I can not separate the platters, they must be aligned with each other. Right?)

I have a stereo microscope and is standing in the area of the soldering, and I can not move it.
So I want to buy a another digital microscope to take pictures of
platters and heads in a clean room
Does someone know if it can do the job? Or is it junk?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/311236961973?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

And what do you recommend?

Which tools do you use to check scratches on the pallets & make picture of the platters?
(Because it's like a mirror
There is a difficulty to make a picture)

Thanks.

There is a problem with the read heads, it is clear..
The point is
That are likely to have a scratch on the surface as a result of the defective head
my question is
How do I check the inner side
Without spending money for the donor drive
Or to separate the platters

1) Strange sounds.
2) Dust on the filters and inside enclosure.
3) Dust on the heads (most useful indication).
4) Using signal/spectrum analyzer (good professional skills are required)
