I have problem with slow read of hard drive (western, Seagate). could you tell me the cause and solution to make it read more rapidly. I have firmware tool of SalvationData HD doctor suit but I am new to use the firmware tool to diagnose and fix firmware problem. is the slow read of hard drive the firmware problem? I have little knowledge of hard drive firmware. I want to know only firmware knowledge that is necessary for this job. could you recommend me the resource of this.
