 Post subject: Hitachi 3.5 " spins down

I have a hitachi 3.5" model HDT721010SLA360 - MLC BA3120

HDD starts for 2-3 seconds , after that i hear a "clap" sound and hdd spins down.

Can this be a board problem ?
