I started the terminal using putty, and I receiving as you can see in the pictures, a nonsense output.
I don't know if the cables or because I don't use a proper TTL-USB adaptor could be the problem.

Also measure the voltages at the Tx and Rx pins, both at the HDD and at the adapter.

I may be wrong, but from the picture, the cable you have isn´t a USB-> RS232 cable, that is, one for "creating" a serial port in a computer without one ?
If that is the case, you should not connect the hdd direct to that cable, but would need another adapter to do the conversion from TTL<->RS232 ( a MAX3232 kind of circuit )

It should be. At worst, you will have to adapt it to 1.8V

Thank you very much for your time.

Heads 1 & 2 seem weak. More than likely they are failing. Besides that, bad sectors have more than likely built up triggering firmware issues.
In short, the drive is very unstable and only a specialist IMHO will be able to do the job properly. Hopefully it is not too late. Need to keep it powered off.
Pcimage is highly recommended.

The HDD is all the time powered off.
I will receive the new 2Tb HDD WD Black Performance. It is possible to copy/clone data from the faulty one to the new one?
I've see some other cases resolved on the forum using the terminal commands.
Please help me with any advice that I can try at home.
Thank you for your support.

If the heads are failing, how can read (copy/clone is a read operation) data? Analogous, if a person eyes are building cataracts, can they read a book well? No, need surgery to remove the cataracts.
I advised in your best interest. I had nothing to gain from my suggestion. Pcimage won't pay me an affiliate commission or something, hahahaaa. Matter of fact, I lost time thinking about what to suggest and post to help in your (drive's) best interest.
Good luck.
