I Have A Seagate HDD ST1000LM035 and smart is fail
i want to reset smart but i don,t have a PC 3000 , can i do this with USB TTL ?
i connected with usb ttl bits per second 38400 data bits 8 after connect Power Cabel Don,t show anything on hyper terminal console ?
this model don,t support usb ttl ?

The newer models use 1.8Vccio, so make sure your adapter can be configured for that.

There would be another problem to unlock SA without proper tools (PC3K, MRT..etc)
