Hi,
Please I need help with a WD10TMVV-11tk7s1 (helios), I swap the u12 chip of usb pcb to sata pcb (771692) then I see slow responding problem and I applied the pc3k solution. after that I lost the model, SN, etc. I started with loader and all modules are OK. Do you know antoher solution?
The drive spin ok and with loader i can read all SA, everything looks ok but I have no data.

Hi!
Have you made a backup of all modules before you do a pc3k slow respond solution?
Slow respond solution is manipulate module 02 wich holds many information about your drive. If weak head can not write back the manipulated 02 module and it now has crc error, then the drive cannot read 02 module after power reset, that leads to the drive is cannot send model, SN, etc...

If you upload Dir and Loader into RAM and check modules that way, are you sure they are all readable without errors? As above, weak heads could be causing strange symptoms too.
