Hi everyone,
I have to try replace a head from a new HDD to a HDD with a crash head.
The replacement is done ... but the hard disc will not work with the new head ?
I have take a identical hard disc.
Is there something that i must do after that i have replace the head ?

what is the drive model and make ?
what make you think you should replace heads ?
did you replace head in clean environment ?
what was the symptom of drive prior to changing head ?

I did in clean environment.
Symptom is clicking ... HD was dropped on the floor.

Not tried but when i have replace the head ... is there something that is must to do ?

should examine the original heads.
