Hi guys,

I'm looking for an external HDD purely used to backup data. Recommendations highly appreciated.

~3-4TB
~100 - 140 EUR max.
non encrypted
dont need cloud backup
not sure about powered by usb or power adapter
USB 3.0

so many times people ask about drive recommendation, our answer is "good drive is which is backed up regularly" means you have to backup your backup drive as well.

Hitachi has fairly a low failure rate as per some studies.
