Hi all
I am making list of Seagate Donor database but my question is still persists -- what is most important or all is important.(Family /Model /Firmware/pcb revision)
Is PCB revision the only ultimate compatibility parameter ?

Different models nos. & families having different firmwares are having same pcb revision . Should I consider other paramters as well for pcb compatibility (like FW / family (7200.12 / 11 etc) model no. etc?
I have seen a small square sticker on Seagate pcb backside. even for same model no. this code is different.
(5701-Y / 5701-AL / 5701 -AE / 2364 -T etc) is this also considering while choosing donor pcb.

can someone pls. clarify. Maybe Guru who knows indepth about Seagate will be able to shade light on this.

I think entire pcb code with rev. is important for compatibility
I have observed even if code is exactly same and Rev. is different , donor pcb's don't work.

model /firmware /family etc are not important for pcb compatibility. Pls. correct be if wrong
