Hi Folks just joined the forum, so hello.
I need some advice on my Seagate 4TB hardrive. Recently it failed and need to recover the data.
After looking carefully on the PCB, I noticed a diode was burnt.. On Ebay I noticed a PCB for sale and the version is the same rev A as mine 100797092 Rev A The hardrive it came from is a 1TB. Does it matter what size hardrive it comes from, and will it work.
Thanks
Ray

Hello! It won´t work if you only change PCB board. There are important information you have to move from one board to the other. Maybe you can start changing burnt diodes if you have some skills / soldering experience to do it.
