Toshiba SSHD / Hybrid donor head compatibilty

Hello all,

I wondered what experience others have had with donor head compatibility in Toshiba Hybrid drives? I've not had enough hybrids through to establish for certain the requirements.

Has anyone attempted to use heads from a standard HDD (MQ01ABF) in a SSHD (MQ02ABF)?

For reference a set of heads from a matching MQ01ABF50H with a full match on the first part of the drive revision and a partial match on the second allow the HDD to be initialised and for read attempts from the platter to be made. Unfortunately in this case the heads were then destroyed within about 2 minutes of disk imaging due to media damage.
