Removing sliders with fishing line guide - (Pictures+video)

February 26th, 2017, 14:14

Im about to do this again on a WD Passport i have in just now, but here is the breakdown of the method I used while removing sliders from a Samsung a few months ago.

The drive had been dropped and all the sliders were missing so I had to take everything out and make a lasoo from fishing line to get them out.

Thought I would post it incase anyone else is struggling with missing sliders ;)

Terrific! Thanks for sharing this and your other recoveries. Some excellent tips in there. BTW, this video near the bottom of that page says it is not available when one goes to play it: https://youtu.be/xju5OOaL-_A
