Hi

kindly help me at WD1001FALS-41Y6A1 case for head removal process.it is look like usual WD HDD Head and installation.but it is not lifting up, i don't make more force also.who have experience with this model HDD advice me.this mac HDD in our country not that much kind of HDD.it is first time facing issues with mechanical damage to me.Thanks

You probably need a T12 torx wrench or possibly a 12mm Alan wrench, to unscrew the head stack from the top. It's a screw inside a screw design, pretty typical of all WD Black desktop drives. Right where you took out the cover screw that's in the pivot point of the head stack is where you insert the wrench. I believe that one is an alan wrench shape, but a torx fits in there as well.
