bought your low level format tool just to wipe and then reuse some of my HDDs - not really too old, but fairly used.
on the first one i tried i get this ''Format Error occured at offset ...'' mssg, thousands (?) of times - on a HDD that actually worked fine before - just needed wiping.
see some entries on the forum here on this, but most of them many years old ... and i was under the impression the latest version of your software eliminated many bugs.
where do i go from here? any other method wiping a disk clean or overwriting it that doesnt give errors where i didnt suspect any? or any low level formating that ignores possible mistake and really brings up a clean HDD?

I'm learning from you, what was the low-level utility you used? If I'm familiar with it, I might have an idea. In the past, I have used 2-3 such utilities, each with their own features and operations.

Never mind my earlier post, I found it; and know nothing about it. I'm going to simply listen in and learn.
