hi
Got a complete clone and the encryption password however i am unfamiliar with the decryption method of this software.
By the looks of things it comes shipped when you purchase it but I do not have access to these disks.
any idea if a bootable downloadable version is available, google not giving much on this one
failing that I will hound the customer
thanks in advance

Depends on the version of encryption.
There are some tools and info that can be found here.
https://support.symantec.com/en_US/arti ... 14380.htmlI am working on one of these recoveries now. Unfortunately, the version I am working on has no tool. lol

It is a full drive encryption. Download an according software version from the link as mentioned above, create bootable USB using this utility, prepare PC with disk for image, boot up with USB, try to clone the drive.

When you try to boot from the clone, does the pre-boot authentication environment show up?
