Anyone know Western Digital - What is CCC stands for? It has date in it and E1/E3/A1 or similar code

Looks different. Only the last field 7 looks somewhat familiar.
On my HD it is "E3 21 AUG 96", on ebay there are items with CCC "E3 ...", "E1 ..." and "A1 ...". What this two letter code stands for? It is a separate field, there are also MDL field that is containing firmware revision number "00H", probably.

Here is the label of one such drive listed on ebay

. DCM was different on every drive I've seen so far, it is more like a serial number and not Drive Configuration Matrix as suggested
