Hello Friends

After a while the Samsung HD161HJ disc starts the engine stops. I'm gonna change the Pcb. Which ROM on the PCB?

No rom in pcb. Rom is inside main chip.

You need to get same board with the same firmware, or adapt board or firmware to be the same as your hard disk.

That said, the problem may not be in the board. Are you connecting the disk directly to the sata port of a computer, or through USB adapter Have you tried with another power supply for the computer, or at least another sata plug ?

If it spins up OK and then stops, then it’s highly unlikely to be a PCB problem.

Most likely a firmware issue.

Some terminal output would help a proper diagnosis, rather then just assuming it’s the PCB.

The problem of stopping when I plug in from the same donor pcb card is solved. I can not reach it. Which chip to change.

No "chip" to change in this.
