I'm trying to record all the SA in a HD HITACHI-ARM that has all the corrupt SA.
In theory it is possible and it seems that there is some tool that does it.
I open this thread with the intention of solving this problem in which I am interested and may be interested in someone else.
I thank in advance who can help me in this matter.

If I delete all the SA of an ARM HDD without F copy, is there a possibility of recovering the HDD if I have a copy of all the modules of the SA?
Does any tool on the market do this?

Yes, I tried it but I did not get it.
The HDD remains in BSY.
With MRTLAB I got it for the HITACHI-IBM (with some drawbacks, but with what I got, data could be recovered).
The MRT with the hitachi I have achieved that if a copy of the SA is wrong to use the good copy canceling the bad head, but I can not recover the data in the bad head.

If you have all drive modules, you need to make loader from them, download to drive loader and write back modules. pc3k should able to do it, but i am not sure.

Thanks for the advice.
I work with MRTLAB and it does not take it.
I'll keep looking, in theory it should be done.

It would be cool to know how to create manually the LDR from saved mods, also how to upload it into the drive.
MRT doesn't have such option!
In the past, when i was playing with 2.5" hitachi arm drive, i killed SA by doing a similar thing as mhp666 did and i remember that i was not able to restore it, i searched for some infos on how to bring it again alive but i wasn't able to find anything.

Maybe an hotswap would work?
I don't know if it would work because i left the drive and trashed somewhere.
But i will be happy to restart playing again with it if somebody knows how to create ldr and explains how to upload it into the drive.

I tried to do a hot swap, but it did not work and I think that on a HDD like HITACHI, you do not have to try.
I have downloaded the trial version of SEDIV, but when I run it, it is not even shown on the screen. Does it work for Windows 7?
I have not had time to get back to the subject of HITACHI, when I find a space I'll put it back.

Sediv doesn't work with the 64-bit system, neither in AHCI mode.
Win 7 is fine if it is 32 bit and in if is set in IDE mode.

I don't see why you have difficulties here. PC3k can do loaders. Just ask somebody to create loader from drive with same firmware like your drive has. Upload loader to drive and write original modules back.

Are you sure that pc3000 is able to build loader for arm hitachi?
I've found the hitachi drive which i ruined time ago with mrt, i would like to upload ldr in sediv and see if i can make it work again.
Can you try to build the loader for this drive, please?
I'm curious to see if ldr will work :)

Probably he uses some sort of in house tool instead pc3k.
At this point i don't know yet if pc3k is really able to build ldr for hitachi arm drives (need a response from someone who has it).
If pc3k can't, maybe drHDD tool can.
:D

I did remote job and I tried to make and use loader on pc3k. It was kind of working.
I tried to make loader from your modules, but they have names in different format. If you rename it at least in pc3k format I will make loader for you.

One of the guy in my area, backed up ALLRESOURCES, THEN played with SA by DFL tool. During play the drive stopped working and he was unable to fix it by DFL.

But I was able to restore the drive by PC3K with his backed up resources after he sent me

Ups, I forgot - pc3k most likely encrypt their loaders. They usually do it for that kind of stuff.
