Hello,
I have a question about the firmware update over hdparm.
I have a dell ST2000NM0011 with FW:PA07.
The Dell FW Software says it does not support my system. I found on de directory the PA09.fwh file.
Can i flash this file directly?
many thanks

FWIW, I have seen others use hdparm to flash a LOD image to an earlier Seagate model. In that particular case the source file was a Dell fwh image whose header was stripped off.
https://ata.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Talk:Known_issuesCaution: Don't mix OEM and retail firmware. The result could be a nonfunctional drive. Also, don't mix firmware streams (eg don't apply a CCnn update to SDnn retail firmware).
