 Post subject: Anyone experienced similar cases in SAS?

Hello guys,,,

I got a strange case here in SAS where the drive Spins normal but Heads never moves...

its like the power is feeding the Motor & spinning @ normal speed but Heads like stuck but its not (when i move it manually its Ok not stuck)

Anyone had similar cases?

Could be media damage that initially destroyed heads.

Humm, the options are:

Heads or Media damaged

The only thing that is annoying here is that Spinning up process is normal (I compared it with one of the working drives same model exactly)
and the spinning up process reaches a level where Motor spins normal then some certain init. time and Heads starts to move (it doesn`t in my case example)

seems i have only one option left to try here
