Hy All, guys, i have a little question its possible, to recover data when was overwritting?

i.e A folder called, backup, this backup its from January from 2004, Then by mistake its overwritting, with a folder called, backup, but this is from January, from 2002, its possible recover , data from 2004

A good question, with hardware, or software, and wich hardware and software ,

Yes and no,
Yes - if the orverwritting that you are saying is something like this > fornat and reinstall system.
No - if the overwritting is like this > you have a file that the name is help.doc adn then you start it erase everything inside and record it, so what you are gonna have now is the new help.doc - You already gonne to school ? you studied Phisics ? if yes you will remember this> "2 corps can not be at the same time at the same place".
