Hi there, I've some problems with a Western Elemtns 1TB 2,5" WDBUZG0010BBK.

Disk is shown in devmanager as WD Elemts...
Disk wont init by Diskmanagement -> E/A Error
After i plug the cable it starts to spin and make some noises (no clicking noises)
~20 seconds later the noise will end.

Victoria can see the disk, WDMarvel cant see the disk
DDRescue fail. Some Ideeas?

best regards
Fabian

If no clicking noises, probably head stuck...
Do you ear the platter spin? Or a beeping noise?
What the PC is detecting is the USB controller...

Sounds like media damage to me, I expect there to be “dinks” on the platter surface(s).
