Hi !

I have 2 drives of this type , identical. One is with bad PCB - not spin, another in bad condition.Some test say that some heads are going to die.
I put PCB from bed heads drive to not spinning drive and restore full backup from bad heads hdd.
i have wdmarvel license.
After restore drive spinning, visible , initializing in WDmarvel. After that I run full LBA scan, add defects to p-list.Format.Clear SMART.
The drive I working well, but when I put it in sinology - SMART report Is HDD failing.Short smart does not complete.

I certainly miss something important in this process.

Now I am currently filling the disk with files and for now it is working ok, butt like i said short smart test does not pass.

Run DLG - the same - qiuck test on the drive 2 did not complete ! Status code=3 /fatal or unknown error/ Failure chekpoint=99/unknown test/

Run HDDscan - the same.

Some ideas what to do ?
