cloning drive, buy same drive?

April 6th, 2020, 14:49

hello
ill be cloning a drive to try to restore a file, should I aim for the same drive or can i buy any 4tb?
What I know about cloning requirements is that the destination drive cannot be smaller (IIRC depends what software, but ill most probably will be using clonezilla).

I hope so. I wouldn't want to return the drive. I can't get the drive I currently have anymore.
