How can I fix samsung hdd smart error?

August 19th, 2020, 19:51

my friend's hdd was out of order. To find out if the problem was the pcb or the hdd itself, he plugged my own hdd's circuit board into it and tested it. Then, when I took the circuit board back and put it into my hdd, the hdd smart data that was not there before came out.

"Problems occured between the cummunication of the disk and host 588 times" and
"spin up time"

I wonder how can I fix these errors?
I have USB-TTL. I just need to fix "Problems occured between the cummunication of the disk and host 588 times" and "spin up time"

The SMART data are not stored on the PCB. They are written to reserved Maintenance Cylinders in a hidden area on the platters. In short, your friend is not responsible for your UDMA CRC Errors.
