How do I obtain or reset Samsung hdd smart data

October 21st, 2020, 9:26

My Samsung hdd cable has been damaged, causing a "Communication Problem Between Disk and Host" error. Change the cable and fix the problem. Is it possible to reduce this value to zero only from Smart data? If not, how do I clean Samsung hdd's smart values?

I have seen on the youtube that the smart data of the seagate hdd can be clear with the usb ttl adapter. If I buy a usb ttl adapter, can't i interfere with samsung's smart data? Can't I change or delete Samsung's smart data if I buy a usb ttl adapter?
