Many of you probable seen Spyglass, Palmer, or Charger drives that return all zeros on a read data request. It is because these drives have damaged or empty SMR translator.
I was working on this problem for a long time and now I can say that I finally have a decent solution.

The best results can be achieved if SMR translator is only partially damaged but I can also recover drives that were re-formatted (in this case SMR translator is completely erased).
Unfortunately I cannot recover these remotely only if you ship the drive to me.

Well,
Let The Debate Start ,Sorry Doomer In Advance ,Whats Th Price Per TB Of HDD Space ,I am Sure Its Definately Not Affordable Right ,Just Like Always Its Been With You 5 or 10 Top Pros .I Was Quoted USD 2000 for a RAW Files Recovery Few Days Before Acelab Released Ver 6.7 .I also Assume Few Of These Pros Are In The Beta Testers Of Acelab And They Get To Use The Technology Before Its Released ,I am Not Saying Acelab Can Also Do What Doomer Claims To Say Here But Who The Hell Knows .Like That SM Series 22XX SSD That Has All The Tools In Public Domain In China Along With Many Firmwares Etc Etc .

I PMed you the price.

It's useless for drives with encryption, which is majority of drives where I work.
My solution works on encrypted drives.

I'm sure "they" do, not sure why you trying to accuse me of being one of "them"

Well done.
I think that was big PITA and a lot of R&D that may took month/s without stopping.

Doomer ,
The Price You Quoted Was Exceptional ,This Is How It Should Be ,Not That USD 2000 Type ,How The Hell Can We Developing Countries Afford That ,Your Price is Very Good i Have Several Cases Lined Up For You

PS : Doomer is The First Sensible Guy i Have Met In Relation To Pricing .Great Job

2k price probably was before puplic release of same solution. After release, price should be reconsidered. You should repsect guys who is doing R&D separate to Acelab, and gaining faster results with own unique methodics.
For some cases , Sandforce SSD for example, cost is still yet to be high, for example. This is kind of coverage of own time investment

Well,
2K For RAW Recovery Is Not What Our customers Can Pay ,You Can See Even Acelabs Solution is Useless even now ,I have never got any sensible output even in RAW and its DAMMMMMMM SLOWWWWWWW .

Ace solution with raw recovery using PBA is not applicable to drives with encryption IMHO.
It works well with drives without hw encryption which is 5%? of the drives we see, at least here.

Edit: I see Doomer already mentioned this.

Don't forget that in other countries the living cost isn't the same as yours. I've lived in France , Brazil and currently Tunisia, my prices depends on where i live and not how much a person from the UK, US or EU asks.

if the provider can make a better price for someone that lives in another country, where the living cost is much lower, then this person is a good one.
