Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and to repair HDDs
My problem is the following: A few months ago my seagate hdd stopped working without any problem. The PC did not recognize it but it turned correctly and did not make any strange noise. After browsing the internet I found that it is most likely due to an error called BSY that these very frequent discs present. I found hundreds of tutorials to repair the 7200.11 seagate models but nothing of mine in specific. What I would like is to know if I can fix the hdd with the same method as the 7200.11 and if you could tell me the commands to write in the terminal.
Below I attach the data of the HDD
SN W1F09CBL
MODEL ST3000DM001
PN 9YN166-302
FW CC4C
PCB 100664987 REV A
I do not care about the information on the disk and where I live there are not many PRO that repair HDDs so I will try everything to fix it if it breaks at least I will have a little more experience in repairing hdds
