Hi Guys. I had 5 HDDs in RAID5 config on Adaptec 6805 controller. Before giving them to someone I decided to erase them all at once vs one by one and started "ATA Secure Erase" process with Adaptec 6805, without reading the precautions (my bad, as I now understand). Couple of days later I interrupted the process as I was thinking it's taking too long and is too slow so there should be something wrong with it. Turned out the process should NOT be interrupted or drives can be damaged. Plus it does 3 passes and that's why it's so slow. Here:
https://ask.adaptec.com/app/answers/det ... s-and-ssds
Now I can't access 3 out of 5 HDDs. DRS software reports Firmware as "locked" and I can't initialize them or access them. Does anyone knows a way to recover them? Any help or suggestion would be appreciated!
