Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

So my laptop had motherboard issue and crashed and i took out my 1TB hard disk and put it in an enclosure and tried to use it as an external hard drive but when i plugged it into another computer and tried to access it, it showed me a "H is inaccessible" message so i tried to recover it via CMD and long story short i recovered it but then my computer showed my hard disk space as just 232gb of free and total storage capacity instead of 1TB and i went to disk management to see the real volume and it was still 232gb, tried DISKPART procedure and on Disk 1 which is the external Drive it shows 232gb on size instead of the full capacity and 0kb on free, so i don't know what to do right now, does it mean that i've lost over 600gb of space and all my files are now gone? please help me guys
Thank you so much

Something happened during the "long story". You now have a hard drive with a capacity of 250GB (= 232GiB).
Can you show us the Partitions window in DMDE?
