I have a Seagate 4TB model number ST4000DM000-1F2168 has so much bad sectors that are unrecoverable according to Puran Disk Fresh software i used on it and would like to know if a i would need a new hdd controller board or replacement hdd disk platters to solve the excessive amounts of unrecoverable bad sectors, bad
delays???
updated: have been able to reformat this hdd(SMART status check back as:OK in Victoria disk utility) but windows disk check utility nor HDD regenerator are able to complete a disk check of bad sectors without glitching out due to "hard disk not ready" error or freezing up!!??!!

If any one knows a Seagate 4TB sata hdd firmware flashing program that works in windows please give me a reply!!

Hard drives don't work like that.

Your drive is failing - probably due to a hardware fault or it could just be a bad drive. Recover the data you need and safely dispose of it before it dies completely and takes your data with it.
