MQ04ABD200 should be the equivalent SATA model.

I was thinking in copying the bios and not de-soldering it.

I keep seeing this being posted about tosh roms - but nobody ever provides further info. I've not cooked one yet and I've been pretty careless about desoldering them, has anyone actually killed one really or is it just hear say?

the reference on the PCB is G0034A. Would this G4311A sata be compatible with my client's version?

Easy to convert to SATA. Substitute 1,2,3,5 with 2,3,5,6 on 7 pin SATA connector.

the Client's PCB is not fully functional, at least the drive spin but nothing more. I've figured that exchanging the PCB would be easier with a Bios transfer than desoldering. Myself i've no experience in electronics, so i'm taking the safest route with my actual skills and knowledge. But thank you for contributing to my issue with your insight.
