Secondary HDD going locked raw

June 19th, 2021, 18:07

Hi everyone, I have a seagate barracuda 2Tb ST2000DM005-2CW102 that I have bought 2 months ago. This disk started to go raw twice a week
I have to use chkdsk /f and everything goes to normal. I have tested the disk surface multiple times with seagate and western digital tools and hddscan and everything is ok but this still happens, the disk is going raw all the time. I have changed the data cable, and the sata port of the motherboard..
I have reinstalled windows, I checked also for malware with the help of the malware forum of techspot and nothing.
Im starting to think its the motherboard Gigabyte B450M DS3H-CF (AM4) or its drivers.
I there any better form to check the disk?
Thanks in advance
