I am trying to access Seagate 7200.12 disk which is staying busy and giving LED error.
MDL - ST3320418AS
FW:- HP11

I have cleared SMP flags and tried to edit sysfile 93. Despite all efforts LED message is not going.
I have given up now and returning disk as non recoverable.
I am sure someone seagate expert from forum might shade light on something which I am missing compltely.
If required I can give remote access as well.

can't see no nothin' on that pic, very low resolution...

you could simply quote the terminal log between [ code ] [ /code ] tags (without the spaces), much easier to handle.

If it is what I think it is, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of threads online that will show up with a quick google search for the LED error.

well, that LED error can be anything until we see what's there exactly. That message can be quite informative.
Guessing may or may not lead to precise conclusions.

thanks all of you.
Now LED error has gone. Some of the observations are --
1) After 1~2 minutes drive gives DRD DSC
2) While system file 93 can be read , system file 28 using head 0 cant get read a all using head 1 it can be read partially but is not loaded.
3) There is ROM checksum error --

I think this could be ROM + SA issue.

Full terminal is as following

Read the ROM a few more times and perhaps off board are the readings consistent.

Yes Lardam you are right , even If I copy ROM using same pc3000 twice both readings are different.
Here are both ROM copies and other system files.
