Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

Hello. I got an old western-digital harddrive 2TB. It still works and I have put some data on it on purpose. I thought it would be fun to see if I can remove the headstack and inspect it under a microscope and then reinstall it. But I don't really know how.
I already found a youtube video how to make a small dust-free box with a hepa filter for my experiment. All I need now is some kind of tutorial showing me how to do what I want to achieve.
Any advice especially about wd drives that is necessary?
